I want to make Wine!! The journey begins…

Home made Wine…to be honest it conjurs up all sorts of images, from dusty bottles full of potentially lethal substances to exploding bottles in the airing cupboard - from my limited knowledge of any kind of homebrewing, the path is dangerous and frought with hiccups.
But that hasn’t deterred me for even one second - the time has come to do something creative, to make something with my stamp on it, and my choice is to make wine!
I mean why not? I drink Wine, I like certain types of wine more than others, so surely by learning this fine art, in no time at all, i’ll be producing professional quality wine that i like on an almost constant basis!!! The money I save will be considerable, and what a great lifeskill to have in the process!!
So why this website? Well, for me its a chance to share the process with whoever happens across the site - and ultimately, i’d love it to be a meeting place for homebrewers to share stories of success and failure - you know it could just become the one stop resource center for home brewing fans!
My first task is to buy a home brew kit - so i’m off onto Ebay straight away! I’ll update here tomorrow to let you know what I brought!
